Warranty Against Defects

Thank you for choosing this product.  We take pride in our products and offer to consumers who purchase our products the following warranty.  We request that you complete this online product registration form within 30 days of purchase.

This Warranty against Defects is provided in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have at law.


The Warranty

Subject to ‘Exclusions and Limitations’ as set out below, we warrant to you that if you are a consumer who purchases products within Australia, from us or one of our authorised dealers, that they will not contain defects which are a result of faulty manufacturer workmanship or materials. 

This warranty subsists for the period listed below from the date of purchase and covers the below brands. 

The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and any person to whom the title to, or property in the product is gifted to during the warranty period. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty subsists for the listed period from the date of purchase however is not transferable through second hand consumer to consumer resale.


Exclusions and Limitations

 No Warranty against Defects is offered and we will not be liable for defects, which are a result of:


•Damage of loss caused by factors beyond our control;

•Any product which has not been maintained according to the owner’s manual or any care or maintenance instructions provided with the product;

•Fuse replacement—where the fuse is accessible from outside, the repair is not covered by warranty.

•Any alterations or repairs to the product which are not performed by us;

•Any and all shipping costs associated with returning the product to us pursuant to this warranty;

•Damage or loss to the product caused whilst the product is shipped or delivered to or from us or the Galactic Music Authorised Service Centre;

•Damage or defects caused to the product due to unusual or non-recommended use of the product;

•Parts or components not manufactured or supplied by us;

•Any service costs in connection with normal or regular maintenance of the product;

•Any damage or loss caused by dirt, abrasions, moisture, rust, corrosion or other similar conditions;

•If upon inspection by a Galactic Music Service centre or its authorized agent, drivers or diaphragm assemblies are found to have burnt voice coils as a result of over / under driving, or due to a surge from a power amplifier.

•Any damage or loss arising from electromagnetic or electrical interferences, deficiency, excess or surge of electrical supply, air conditioning or humidity; and

•Any damage or loss resulting from the use of incorrect mains voltage as detailed on the product or in the owner’s manual or care instructions.


NOTE: It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that any data has been backed up prior to sending the product to us, as data may be lost during repair.


We will not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential or economic loss or damage or loss of profits (in contract or tort or arising from any other cause of action) suffered by you or any other person resulting from any act or omission by us.

Total Liability

Our total liability in respect of this Warranty against Defects is limited, at our option to offer replacement of the goods; or the repair of the goods.

•Please Note: Electron Valves are only covered under warranty for a period of 90 days.

•Please Note: Lead Acid batteries are only covered under warranty for a period of 90 days.

How do I contact someone in the Service Department?

How do I organise a repair if my product is under warranty?

Firstly you will need to contact the store in which you purchased your product from. They will then process the necassary paperwork, and liaise with us to organise the repair.

To order a spare part or to make an enquiry about a spare part please email us at We only accept part enquiries and orders via email as the must be in writing. We do not take ANY part enquiry over the phone.

Where do I send my goods?

If you have arranged with the store to send your unit to us directly, please ensure you send your unit along with your RMA number to:

What do I do if I did not receive my replacement or repair?

Please contact the Service Department via telephone or email at and quote the RMA Number and verify the delivery address.  All goods are shipped either via courier or Express Post and consignments can be tracked.
